Purchased by VSCC racer Rob Cobden, who wanted a fresh challenge after six or seven years developing his pre-war Riley. He found the car completely derelict in a garden in the Isle of Wight and had been sitting out in the open for 30 years - engine seized up and chassis completely corroded.
