Tim Stamper is hoping to retain this old sticker in memory of Jon when he gets around to restoring the DB2/4 bodywork. You may recall that we ran a number of Trophy races for Feltham Astons, in memory of Jon, a few years back. This photo and all that follow by JT until otherwise stated

As they used to be. The angles of the Sunbeam Alpine and DB2/4 give a demonstration of how they would have looked racing in period. Andrew Davenalls’s A105, on the other hand, corners much flatter courtesy of a greater degree of suspension modification.

This shot of Tim Stamper’s DB2/4 was grabbed from the rearview cam of Andrew Davenall’s A105. Andrew has placed the first couple of laps footage on youtube and is well worth a look -
